Gary's capabilities are forged over 38 years in the automotive industry, including a distinguished career as an Air Force Veteran and the owner of DeMasi Tech. His background spans a vast range of technical disciplines: advanced diagnostics, intricate electrical systems, complex engine overhauls, fabrication, chassis work, and precision welding. There are few mechanical or technical problems Gary hasn't encountered and solved. This deep well of knowledge is invaluable, providing LBCM with the highest level of technical readiness.

His passion for motorsports isn't just professional; it's deeply personal. Gary has a long history competing in rallycross and stage rally, notably building and driving his unique V8 Rally Ranger. Demonstrating incredible grit and determination and a tenacious personality, he turned to what he calls "extreme mechanical therapy," using familiar automotive tasks and rally competition itself as a path for rehabilitation, rebuilding motor skills and communication.

This personal victory over adversity fuels his commitment to promoting stroke awareness (advocating the F.A.S.T. acronym) and, powerfully, inspiring and mentoring others, particularly veterans and individuals with disabilities, to use motorsports for their own rehabilitation and empowerment. His presence as Crew Chief reinforces LBCM's message that motorsports can be a vital outlet and a path to building resilience and purpose.
